Kitchen Hood cleaning services
Thank you for considering our services for your kitchen hood cleaning needs. We aim to deliver transparent, professional, and high-quality service tailored to your establishment. Below, you’ll find our updated pricing structure, the factors that influence costs, and our quoting process—all designed to help you understand what to expect.
Pricing Formula
We calculate our pricing using a straightforward formula that most people can understand:
Total Cost = Base Fee + (Cost per Linear Foot × Length of Hood) + Additional Charges
· Base Fee: $200
This covers initial setup, travel costs, basic cleaning equipment, and cleaning of one exhaust fan.
· Cost per Linear Foot: $24
This rate applies to the total length of the hood system and includes filter cleaning, reflecting the time and effort required.
· Additional Charges: Vary
These may include fees for multiple exhaust fans, extended ductwork, or other specialized tasks such as cleaning access panels or addressing complex system features.
Example Calculations
Assuming standard conditions (one exhaust fan and ductwork not exceeding 20 feet):
· 10-foot hood: $200 + ($24 × 10) = $440
· 20-foot hood: $200 + ($24 × 20) = $680
· 30-foot hood: $200 + ($24 × 30) = $920
For scenarios with additional charges:
· 15-foot hood with 2 exhaust fans and 25-foot ductwork:
o Base Fee: $200
o Cost per Linear Foot: $24 × 15 = $360
o Additional Exhaust Fan: $50 (for the second fan)
o Extended Ductwork: $15 × (25 - 20) = $75
o Total Cost: $200 + $360 + $50 + $75 = $685
·
· 25-foot hood with 4 exhaust fans and 30-foot ductwork:
o Base Fee: $200
o Cost per Linear Foot: $24 × 25 = $600
o Additional Exhaust Fans: 3 × $50 = $150, with 10% discount (since total fans > 3): $150 - $15 = $135
o Extended Ductwork: $15 × (30 - 20) = $150
o Total Cost: $200 + $600 + $135 + $150 = $1,085
Factors Influencing the Price
Several variables can affect the final cost of cleaning your kitchen hood. Here’s why these factors matter and how they contribute to the charges:
· Condition of the Hood System: Hoods not cleaned regularly may have heavy grease buildup, requiring more time and effort, which increases costs.
· Location: If your restaurant is far from our service area or in a busy metropolitan zone, travel time and logistics may raise the price.
· Size of the Hood System: Larger hoods or multiple hoods take longer to clean, directly impacting the cost.
· Frequency of Cleaning: High-grease kitchens (e.g., fast food or fry-heavy menus) may need more frequent service, influencing long-term pricing.
· Complexity: Systems with long ducts, multiple exhaust fans, or unique features require extra labor or equipment, adding to the cost.
· Water Supply: If your facility’s water isn’t available, we may need to bring our own, which incurs an additional fee.
· Equipment Condition: Damaged or poorly maintained hoods might need extra care, increasing the time and resources needed.
Average Cost Estimates
Based on industry research from various companies’ websites and blogs, here are typical price ranges:
· Small Hood (up to 10 feet): $400 - $500
· Medium Hood (11-20 feet): $500 - $700
· Large Hood (21-30 feet): $700 - $900
· Extra Large (over 30 feet): Custom quote required
These estimates align with common pricing practices and may adjust based on the factors above.
